Indianapolis, IN (August 19, 2009) – Indianapolis based MainGate, the premier retail and merchandise company in the country, was named the official merchandise company of the Minnesota Vikings earlier this year. The news of Favre signing with the Vikings has put a long awaited game plan into play. MainGate has been preparing a merchandise line and a marketing plan for launching this line for months. The early preparation of this plan including the quantity of jerseys, tees, hats and other merchandise to carry for all store locations and to cover online sales through Vikingslockerroom.com is now proven to be time well spent.

MainGate will launch a fully integrated sales and marketing program in conjunction with the announcement of Favre joining the Vikings. Our program includes an e-mail marketing campaign, store signage, banner ads, search engine and social media marketing and all with a customer service overlay have been put in motion.
MainGate currently operates three mall store locations in Minnesota and the online store for the Vikings. Each of these store locations, as well as the online store, Vikingslockerroom.com, are currently selling Favre merchandise and have merchandise to fulfill within 24 hours of the signing. The store locations are as follows:

- Ridgedale Center, Minnetonka, MN
- Rosedale Center, Roseville, MN
Also, starting this Friday, Favre merchandise will be available at the Locker Room Express locations at the Metrodome for the first pre-season game.
